Mysticism is often confused with the occult or magic. There is nothing mysterious about Mysticism or
Mystics, nor do they practice occult rituals or portray themselves as magicians by proving themselves

interesting; however, one fact is incorrect, monism is a philosophical
view, or one way to understand or give meaning to the universe.
Monism has been expressly debated in Ancient Sanskrit Text long
before the Religion Theosophy tried to make a claim to the theory.
When the term 'monism' is mentioned on this site, it is not referring to
any Religious belief. I have read both volumes of MBs Secret Doctrine
and in my view it is just a journal of her travels and hodgepodge of
things she heard along the way. In my view, she added nothing to
the concept of 'monism' and I think the title of her last book an
oxymoron 'Secret Doctrine' such as the Oxy 'Military Intelligence' to
add a little levity to the conversation.
